1️⃣ You send the clothes.

Choose 1–2 adult shirts (or the equivalent in baby clothes, dresses, robes, uniforms—you name it). Make sure they’re clean and scent-free. We promise, memory magic works better without yesterday’s BBQ sauce or pet hair. 😉

2️⃣ We get to work.

Once your package arrives, we carefully cut, sew, and shape your clothing into your one-of-a-kind Memory Bear. Every stitch is placed with care—and sometimes a happy tear or two.

3️⃣ You get a hug that lasts.

Your finished Memory Bear will be carefully packaged and sent back to you, ready for smiles, memories, and maybe a few “Oh my gosh, that’s so them” moments.

Our Memory and Legacy Bears include embroidery options such as a name, date, short message, meaningful words, or handwriting, depending on the style selected.

🚫 A Few Things to Know

We don't place ashes, jewelry, or other valuables inside Memory Bears. And because every bear is created from the clothing you provide, please be sure to send enough usable fabric for us to create your keepsake.

To make sure your Memory Bear turns out beautifully, here’s what we need from you:

✅ What to Send

• 1–2 adult-sized shirts per bear, or the equivalent amount of fabric from baby clothes, pajamas, cotton pants, sweatshirts, dress shirts, or flannel

• Clean, usable clothing made from fabrics such as cotton, t-shirt material, flannel, fleece, and sweatshirt fabric

🚫 What Not to Send

• Denim, sweaters, jackets, coats, or other very thick or loose-weave materials

• Sheer, delicate, or extremely stretchy fabrics that may not hold their shape during construction

• Towels or terry-cloth robes

• Clothing that is heavily stained, covered in pet hair, or has a strong smoke or other odor

📏 Not Sure How Much to Send?

When in doubt, send an extra piece. It's always better for us to have a little more fabric to work with—and we'll return any unused clothing with your finished Memory Bear.

Gently wipe with a damp cloth if needed. Please avoid the washing machine, dryer, or dry cleaning, as they may damage the fabrics, embroidery, or construction of your bear.

✅ Handle with Care

Memory Bears are created as keepsakes for gentle snuggles, display, and comfort. They are not intended as toys for children or pets.

✅ Keep Away from Heat & Moisture

Store your Memory Bear in a cool, dry place. Excess heat or moisture may damage the original fabrics, embroidery, or stuffing.

Q: How much clothing should I send?

A: We usually need 1–2 adult-sized shirts for one Memory Bear, or the equivalent amount of fabric from baby clothes, pajamas, sweatshirts, or other approved clothing. If you're unsure, send a little extra—we'll return anything we don't use!

Q: Can you use denim, sweaters, coats, or jackets?

A: Unfortunately, these fabrics aren't suitable for our Memory Bears. For the best results, send clothing such as t-shirts, dress shirts, pajamas, cotton pants, sweatshirts, flannel, or other approved fabrics.

Q: Can I combine clothing from more than one person?

A: Absolutely. Just let us know which pieces you'd like combined, and we'll thoughtfully incorporate them into one special Memory Bear.

Q: Can you add ashes, jewelry, or other keepsakes inside?

A: We do not place ashes, jewelry, valuables, or other keepsakes inside our Memory Bears. This helps protect both your meaningful items and the integrity of your finished bear.

Q: Can I request a specific part of the clothing be featured?

A: Yes! If there's a favorite pocket, button, logo, pattern, or other meaningful detail you'd like featured, let us know when you order. We'll do our best to incorporate it whenever the fabric and construction allow.

Q: Will my Memory Bear look exactly like the photos?

A: Every Memory Bear is one of a kind because it's created from the clothing you provide. Fabric placement, colors, patterns, and special details will vary, making your finished bear uniquely yours.

Don't automatically choose the newest or nicest pieces. Sometimes the faded t-shirt they wore every weekend or the pajamas you remember most are exactly what make a Memory Bear feel special.
