1️⃣ You send the clothes.

Choose 1–2 adult shirts (or the equivalent in baby clothes, dresses, robes, uniforms — you name it). Make sure they’re clean and scent-free — we promise, memory magic works better without yesterday’s BBQ sauce or pet hair.

2️⃣ We get to work.

Once your package arrives, we carefully cut, sew, and shape your clothing into a one-of-a-kind memory animal. Every stitch is placed with love, and sometimes, a little happy tear or two.

3️⃣ You get a hug that lasts.

In about 4–6 weeks, your finished memory bear, dog, elephant (or other animal friend) arrives at your door, ready for hugs, smiles, and maybe a few “Oh my gosh, that’s so them” moments.

We don’t embed ashes, jewelry, or valuables inside animals — they’re keepsakes for hugs, not lockboxes! And while we can add lots of love, we can’t make miracles happen with teeny scraps of fabric (so be sure to send enough material!).

To make sure your memory animal turns out beautifully, here’s what we need from you:

• Fabrics that are soft and sewable: cotton, flannel, fleece, t-shirts, lightweight knits

• Denim, coats, jackets, leather, or other thick/heavy materials — they’re just too tough for our cuddly friends

• Delicate, sheer, or super-stretchy fabrics (like silk or swimwear) — they don’t play nicely with the sewing machine

• Anything heavily stained, covered in pet hair, or smoky — memories we love, odors… not so much

Gently wipe with a damp cloth if needed. Please avoid the washing machine, dryer, or dry cleaning — they’re a little too rough on these sentimental friends.

Store in a cool, dry place. Excess heat or dampness can damage delicate fabrics, embroidery, or stuffing.

Q: How much clothing should I send?

A: For one animal, we usually need 1–2 adult-sized shirts or the equivalent in baby clothes, pajamas, or lightweight fabrics. If you’re unsure, send a little extra — we’ll return anything we don’t use!
